Pickle and Social Gwinnett is scheduling a variety of Open Play's led by our Certified Teaching Professionals and tailored to different skill levels. Whether you are new to the sport and want to learn the basics or you're a seasoned-player wanting to enhance your game, Pickle and Social Gwinnett has something for you.
Open play in pickleball is much like a casual, friendly get-together where various games are ongoing. You can drop in during a two-hour slot and play with a mix of people, and you don’t need to bring a partner. In each session, you will be matched with players at your skill level for enjoyable, fair games. The vibe is laid-back and sociable, with the emphasis on enjoying the game and the company. Games rotate, allowing you to play, take brief breaks, and play again. In essence, open play is about joining in, playing with diverse people, and enjoying the relaxed, communal atmosphere of pickleball.
INDOOR OPEN PLAY (FALL - SPRING)
This is the Open play that happens Sunday - Friday for members from 8AM to 2PM. We are allowing non-members to pay a drop-in fee of $15 when they pre-register, or $20 to play as a walk-in.
OUTDOOR OPEN PLAY (SUMMER)
This is the Open play that happens Sunday - Friday for members from 8AM to 2PM. We are allowing non-members to pay a drop-in fee of $15 when they pre-register, or $20 to play as a walk-in.
SATURDAY OPEN PLAY
This is the Open play that happens Saturdays from 8AM to 2PM. It is $15 when if one pre-registers, or $20 to play as a walk-in.
NEWBIE NIGHT OPEN PLAY
Great for beginners or players new to the game. This is an open-play format where you don't need a partner to play. Just show up, and you will be mixed with similar skilled players. This is designed for beginner players.
FOUNDATION DUPR NIGHT
Newer players, this night is for you! Foundation DUPR Night is a fun and welcoming way to gain experience, build confidence, and start your DUPR rating journey in a supportive environment. Whether you're new to DUPR or looking to level up, this is the perfect place to play, learn, and improve. All players must have a DUPR account before participating, but it's okay if you just started one.
COMPETITIVE DUPR NIGHT
Ready to level up your game? Join us for Competitive DUPR Night, where you'll face off against skilled players in fast-paced, high-energy matchups. This is your chance to boost your DUPR rating, sharpen your skills, and compete in a fun yet competitive environment. All players must have an active DUPR account and a minimum 3.0 rating to participate.

Looking for high-level play to close out your weekend? This is the place to be! No traffic, no hassle – just quality games with players who match your skill and intensity. This is your chance to connect, compete, and sharpen your game in an atmosphere designed for serious players who love a good challenge. Exclusively for players with a 4.0 DUPR or higher.
